On August 7th & 8th I will be exhibiting at the Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance. This is a wooden boat concours featuring some of the most beautiful classic wooden boats you’ll see anywhere. It will be the 43rd year of the show and will take place at Obexter’s Boat Company, Homewood on the west shore. This years highlight will be boats powered by V-12 engines. It is said that Lake Tahoe has more of these V-12 powered vintage boats then anywhere in the world.

I’ve been spending the last few months getting ready for this show working on a number of paintings that will represent Lake Tahoe’s racing history from the 1930s to the 1960s. Many of these boats can occasionally be seen cruising Lake Tahoe’s clear ultramarine blue waters. In addition to paintings of race boats I will also have a number of paintings featuring some of Tahoe’s historic steamers from the late 19th century to the early 20th century.
If you happen to be at the lake on August 7 & 8 and want to see millions of dollars of mahogany be sure to check it out and while there stop by my booth and say Hi.
